South Korea Export Prices +10.7% On Year In February

(RTTNews) - Export prices in South Korea were up 10.7 percent on year in February, the Bank of Korea said on Tuesday - accelerating from 7.8 percent in January.

On a monthly basis, export prices rose 2.1 percent - easing from 4.0 percent a month earlier.

Individually, export prices for agricultural, forestry and marine products rose 4.8 percent on month and 11.9 percent on year, while manufacturing products were up 2.1 percent on month and 10.7 percent on year.

Import prices were up 1.1 percent on month and 1.2 percent on year after adding 0.7 percent on month and falling 0.9 percent on year in the previous month.

Individually, import prices for raw materials rose 3.9 percent on month and fell 3.9 percent on year, while intermediate goods added 1.4 percent on month and 4.2 percent on year, capital goods eased 0.1 percent on month and added 1.6 percent on year and consumer goods sank 0.2 percent on month and gained 2.5 percent on year.
