Australia Trade Data Due On Thursday

04/01/2026 - 18:03:00 (RTTNews)

(RTTNews) - Australia will on Thursday release February figures for imports, exports and trade balance, highlighting a light day for Asia-Pacific economic activity.

In January, imports were up 0.8 percent on month and exports fell 0.9 percent for a trade surplus of A$2,631 billion.

South Korea will see March numbers for consumer prices, with forecasts suggesting an increase of 0.6 percent on month and 2.4 percent on year. That follows the 0.3 percent monthly increase and the 2.0 percent annual gain in February.

Japan will provide March data for its monetary base, with expectations calling for a decline of 10.8 percent on year after sinking 10.6 percent in February.
