Singapore Non-Oil Domestic Exports Rebound In November

(RTTNews) - Singapore's non-oil domestic exports rose unexpectedly in November after falling in the previous month, data from Enterprise Singapore showed Tuesday.

Non-oil domestic exports rose 3.4 percent year-over-year in November, reversing a 4.7 percent decrease in the previous month. Economists were looking for a further fall of 1.7 percent.

Electronics exports grew 23.2 percent in November from last year, while non-electronics shipments contracted 1.6 percent.

On a monthly basis, NODX surged 14.7 percent in November, in contrast to a 7.5 percent decline in the preceding month. Both electronic and non-electronic domestic exports increased.
