Mexico Jobless Rate Rises To 2.6% In November

(RTTNews) - Mexico's unemployment rate increased slightly in November after falling in the previous two months, data from the National Institute of Statistics and Geography, or INEGI, showed on Friday.

On an unadjusted basis, the jobless rate rose to 2.6 percent from 2.5 percent in the previous month. There were 1.62 million unemployed people in November.

In the corresponding month last year, the jobless rate was 2.7 percent.

On a seasonally adjusted basis, the jobless rate increased to 2.7 percent from 2.5 percent in the prior month.
