Malaysia GDP Data Due On Friday

(RTTNews) - Malaysia will on Friday release preliminary Q4 figures for gross domestic product, highlighting a light day for Asia-Pacific economic activity. In Q3, GDP was up 5.2 percent on year.

Singapore will see December figures for non-oil domestic exports; in November, exports were up 6.6 percent on month and 11.6 percent on year for a trade surplus of SGD7.669 billion.

Finally, the markets in Indonesia are closed on Friday for the Ascension of Prophet Muhammad.
