Indonesian Consumers Slightly More Optimistic In June

07/08/2025 - 04:41:00 (RTTNews)

(RTTNews) - Indonesian consumer confidence improved slightly in June after easing in the previous month, survey data from Bank Indonesia showed on Tuesday.

The consumer confidence index rose to 117.8 in June from 117.5 in the previous month. A reading above 100 indicates optimism among households.

The slight increase in consumer confidence came from strengthening economic conditions, along with maintaining strong future economic conditions, the survey said.

The current economic condition index climbed to 106.7 from 106.0 in May, while the index for consumer expectations was broadly stable at 128.9 in June compared with 129.0 in the prior month.
