Australia Private Sector Credit Rises 0.6% In July

(RTTNews) - Total private sector credit in Australia was up 0.6 percent on month in July, the Reserve Bank of Australia said on Monday - missing forecasts for 0.7 percent and down from 0.8 percent in June.

On a yearly basis, total private sector credit was up 8.4 percent.

Individually, housing credit was up 0.5 percent on month and 7.4 percent on year, while personal credit added 0.3 percent on month and 4.7 percent on year and business credit was up 0.9 percent on month and 10.6 percent on year.

Broad money added 0.3 percent on month and 7.7 percent on year.
