Yen Falls Against Majors

(RTTNews) - The Japanese yen weakened against other major currencies in the European session on Monday.

The yen fell to a 5-day low of 209.65 against the pound and a 4-day low of 199.72 against the Swiss franc, from early highs of 208.50 and 198.85, respectively.

Against the euro and the U.S. dollar, the yen dropped to 182.25 and 153.61 from early highs of 181.29 and 152.77, respectively.

The yen slipped to a 4-day low of 108.81 against the Australian dollar, from an early high of 108.01.

Against the New Zealand and the Canadian dollars, the yen edged down to 92.79 and 112.80 from early highs of 92.16 and 112.19, respectively.

If the yen extends its downtrend, it is likely to find support around 211.00 against the pound, 203.00 against the franc, 186.00 against the euro, 155.00 against the greenback, 111.00 against the aussie, 95.00 against the kiwi and 115.00 against the loonie.
