VENEZUELA: Country Affirms Commitment To Limit Oil Output

10/04/2017 - 19:17:00 (RTTNews)

(RTTNews) - Venezuela is in daily coordination with countries such as Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Iran and Russia to stabilize and consolidate their control in the oil market, said the South American country's president Nicolás Maduro during an official visit to Russia.

In a speech during a forum on energy, the Venezuelan president cited, among Venezuela's proposals, "the construction of a new formula for the OPEC [Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries] and non-OPEC crude producers to resume the regionalization of the oil prices."

This week, Maduro wages a tour by Algeria, Russia, Belarus and Turkey.
