European Economics Preview: Germany's Factory Orders Data Due

(RTTNews) - Factory orders from Germany and final Purchasing Managers' survey from euro area are due on Monday, headlining a busy day for the European economic news.

At 2.00 am ET, Destatis releases Germany's factory orders data for September. Orders are forecast to fall 1.1 percent on month, reversing a 3.6 percent rise in August.

At 3.00 am ET, the Czech Statistical Office is scheduled to issue industrial output and retail sales for September. Output is expected to grow 3.4 percent on year, slower than the 5.8 percent increase seen in August.

At 3.15 am ET, consumer prices from Switzerland and services PMI data from Spain are due. Swiss inflation is forecast to remain unchanged at 0.7 percent in October.

At 3.30 am ET, Statistics Sweden publishes industrial production data for September. Production had declined 1.7 percent on month in August.

Thereafter, final composite PMI report is due from France at 3.50 am ET. The composite index is seen at 57.5, in line with flash estimate.

At 3.55 am ET, Germany's composite PMI is due. The score is expected to match the flash reading of 56.9 in October.

At 4.00 am ET, IHS Markit releases Eurozone final composite PMI for October. Economists forecast a reading of 55.9, in line with preliminary estimate.

Half an hour later, Sentix is set to publish Eurozone investor confidence survey data. The index is forecast to rise to 31 in November from 29.7 in October.

At 5.00 am ET, Eurostat releases euro area producer prices for September. Producer price inflation is forecast to rise to 2.7 percent in September from 2.5 percent in August.
