European Economics Preview: Germany's Factory Orders Data Due

(RTTNews) - Factory orders data from Germany is due on Thursday, headlining a light day for the European economic news.

At 2.00 am ET, Destatis is scheduled to issue Germany's factory orders data for May. Orders are forecast to grow 1.9 percent on month, reversing a 2.1 percent fall in April.

At 3.00 am ET, the Hungarian Central Statistical Office is scheduled to issue industrial output data for May. Production is forecast to rise 4.7 percent annually, following a 2.5 percent increase in April.

At 3.15 am ET, Swiss consumer price figures are due for June. Economists expect inflation to ease to 0.3 percent from 0.5 percent in May.

At 3.30 am ET, IHS Markit is slated to publish Germany's construction PMI data for June.

At 5.00 am ET, Greece unemployment data is due for April. The jobless rate stood at 22.5 percent in March.
