European Economics Preview: Eurozone Unemployment, PMI Data Due

(RTTNews) - Unemployment and final manufacturing Purchasing managers' survey from euro area are due on Monday, headlining a light day for the European economic news.

At 2.30 am ET, Sweden's PMI data for March is due. The factory PMI stood at 60.9 in February.

At 3.00 am ET, PMI survey results are due from the Netherlands, Norway, Turkey and Poland. In the meantime, Turkey's consumer and producer prices and Hungary's final trade data are due.

At 3.15 am ET, the Federal Statistical Office releases Swiss retail sales data for February.

3.45 am ET, Italy's factory PMI data is due. The manufacturing PMI is forecast to rise to 55.1 in March from 55 in February.

Thereafter, final PMI survey results are due from France and Germany. At 4.00 am ET, Markit publishes Eurozone final PMI data. The index is forecast to match the flash estimate of 56.2 in March.

At 4.30 am ET, UK CIPS/Markit factory PMI is due. The index is expected to rise to 55 in March from 54.6 in February.

At 5.00 am ET, Eurostat is scheduled to issue euro area unemployment and producer prices data. The jobless rate is forecast to fall slightly to 9.5 percent in February from 9.6 percent in January.
