European Economics Preview: Eurozone Inflation, Trade Data Due

(RTTNews) - Final consumer prices and foreign trade from euro area are due on Friday, headlining a light day for the European economic news.

At 2.00 am ET, the European Automobile Manufacturers Association is slated to publish passenger car sales data for May.

At 4.00 am ET, Italy's industrial orders data is due for March. Orders had advanced 0.5 percent on month in February.

In the meantime, Swiss KOF economic forecast is due.

At 5.00 am ET, Eurostat releases euro area consumer prices and foreign trade figures. Inflation is forecast to rise to 1.9 percent in May, as initially estimated, from 1.2 percent in April.

The Eurozone trade surplus is seen falling to a seasonally adjusted EUR 20 billion in April from EUR 21.2 billion in March.

At 6.30 am ET, Russia's central bank announces its rate decision. Economists expect the central bank to hold its key rate at 7.25 percent.
